Welcome to Highland!
   A Great Neighborhood

The Highland Area Partnership, Inc. (HAP) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit corporation established in 1992 for the purpose of revitalizing a three-square mile neighborhood just south of downtown Shreveport, Louisiana. The Highland area is bounded on the north by I-20 and Spring Street, on the south by Kings Highway, on the east by Youree Drive, and on the west by I-49. The corporation is funded by the City of Shreveport, local businesses and individuals. HAP works closely with its sister organization, the Highland Restoration Association, which is a grass roots organization established in 1977.

HAP is an active advocate for broad-based issues such as zoning and land use, capital improvements, public and private development, housing renovation and public schools enhancement. The Highland Area Partnership is located on the Centenary College Campus in Suite 212 of the Centenary Square building (northeast corner of Woodlawn and Kings Highway, across from George's Grill).
